Marie Rochnowski

Aunt Marie was great - always laughing, as was Uncle Stanley. They never had children, but I know they wanted them and would have loved them dearly. Once, when my Mom was in the hospital giving birth to Mary Jane, they took care of us. Mom used to make scrambled eggs so that the white scrambled first, then she'd mix in the yellow so it wasn't quite as cooked. That first morning Aunt Marie asked what I wanted for breakfast, so I tried to explain this egg-making method of Mom's. After countless eggs and much frustration, I was presented with two piles of scrambled eggs: one all white, one all yellow. I still laugh about that.....
